Revises the offense of trespassing to hunt, fish, shoot, or trap to require that the offender knowingly entered another's land without permission, removing the prior requirement of a specific warning.

Classifies violations as misdemeanors punishable under Section 97-17-93.

Second or subsequent violations require forfeiture of all hunting, trapping, and fishing privileges for one year and impose a $500.00 reinstatement fee.

Imposes an administrative fee of $100.00 to $500.00 per animal, bird, fish, or part thereof taken or possessed unlawfully, to be deposited with the State Treasurer and credited to the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
