Requires reports of child abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation to the Department of Child Protection Services to include the name of the reporter.

Maintains confidentiality of reporter identity pursuant to state law and federal law requirements, with limited exceptions for law enforcement, prosecutors, and court proceedings.

Permits disclosure of reporter identity to law enforcement or prosecutor if the Department of Child Protection Services suspects a fraudulent report, with written notification required to the subject of the alleged fraudulent report.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
