Amends Mississippi Code Section 13-3-57 to expand the definition of "doing business" in Mississippi to include any nonresident person, firm, partnership, or foreign corporation registered with the Secretary of State to do business in the state.

Subjects nonresidents registered with the Secretary of State to the jurisdiction of Mississippi courts, making them liable to service of process under Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure.

Maintains existing provisions allowing causes of action to survive against executors, administrators, receivers, trustees, or other representatives of nonresidents upon death or incapacity.

Applies to nonresidents at the time an action is commenced even if they were residents when the cause of action originated.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
