Appropriates $1,500,000 to the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning for Alcorn State University's education and general operations for fiscal year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025).

Funds shall be derived from the Education Enhancement Fund as deposited pursuant to Mississippi Code sections 27-65-75 and 27-67-31, allocated by the Treasurer's Office.

Designated funds are to be used by Alcorn State University for STEM-related programs as determined by the university.

State Treasurer shall disburse funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer in accordance with applicable law.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2024.
