Defines "sex" in Mississippi state law as biological sex at birth and specifies that "woman," "girl," "man," and "boy" refer to biological females and males respectively.

Establishes that policies and laws distinguishing between the sexes are subject to intermediate constitutional scrutiny and permissible when serving important governmental objectives related to athletics, prisons, shelters, restrooms, and areas involving biology, safety, or privacy.

Requires state and local governmental entities to disaggregate data by biological sex at birth when collecting sex-disaggregated data.

Creates a private cause of action allowing persons harmed by violations of the act to sue for injunctive relief, damages, and other available remedies against the state or its political subdivisions.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
