Amends Mississippi Code Section 73-25-32 to require physicians seeking reinstatement of a revoked license to prove that medical practice deficiencies specified in the revocation order have been corrected.

Requires applicants to demonstrate to the Board of Medical Licensure that reinstatement is in the applicant's or public's best interest, supported by substantial evidence in addition to other statutory requirements.

Maintains existing reinstatement procedures including one-year waiting period after revocation, verified recommendations from licensed physicians and citizens, and board authority to investigate applicant's activities and require oral examinations.

Requires fingerprint-based criminal history checks through Mississippi and FBI databases as part of reinstatement investigation, with costs charged to the petitioner.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
