Senate Bill 2914 Summary

• Directs 10% of monthly state use tax revenue to be deposited into the 2022 Capacity Project Fund starting August 15, 2024.

• Redirects gaming license fees to the 2022 Maintenance Project Fund instead of the State General Fund, effective through June 30, 2028.

• After July 1, 2028, gaming license fees will be deposited into the 2022 Maintenance Project Fund with an exception for $3,000,000 annually directed to a bond sinking fund.

• Maintains existing distributions of use tax revenue to education, motor vehicle, bridge replacement, and state aid road funds.
