Restores full voting rights to Robert Maxwell of Oktibbeha County, Mississippi

Maxwell was convicted of embezzlement on October 19, 1981, and sentenced to 36 months probation under the Mississippi Department of Corrections

He was convicted a second time for embezzlement on January 24, 1996, receiving a 2-year prison sentence, and was paroled on February 2, 1997

The Legislature notes that Maxwell has conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen since completing his sentence

Takes effect immediately upon passage
