Greg "Fingers" Taylor, harmonica player for Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band from 1974-2000, passed away on November 23, 2023, at age 71

Taylor met Buffett at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1970 and appeared on the majority of Buffett's albums over 30+ years, also recording with James Taylor, Bo Diddley, and other notable artists

Taylor released five studio albums and was inducted into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame in 2012, leaving a significant impact on Mississippi's music scene

Legislature extends deep sympathy to Taylor's surviving family members: sons Steven, Hunter, and Richard Rierson; sister Melanie Johnston; and brother Brent Taylor

Resolution directs presentation of sympathy to Taylor's family, forwarding to the Mississippi Arts Commission, and distribution to the Capitol Press Corps
