Commemorates the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the City of Ridgeland, Mississippi in 2024.

Recognizes Ridgeland's history dating to 1805 when the Choctaw Indian Agency was located there, and its establishment as "Ridgeland" in 1896 by developers Edward Treakle and Gordon Nichols.

Acknowledges Ridgeland's achievements including designations as "Tree City USA," "Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community," and one of "100 Best Places to Live" by MONEY magazine.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Mayor Gene McGee and the Ridgeland Board of Aldermen, with copies forwarded to the Mississippi Division of Tourism and Capitol Press Corps.

Notes Ridgeland's introduction of a Virtual History Room at City Hall and on the city's website featuring historical archives of the city's first families.
