Extends condolences from the Mississippi Senate to the family of former State Representative Robert Lee (Bob) Everett, III, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at age 79.

Honors Everett's service as a Vietnam War veteran who served as a hospital corpsman aboard the U.S.S. Sanctuary and later retired as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Commends Everett's political career including two terms (1980-1988) as a Mississippi House Representative from Warren County and subsequent work as a contract lobbyist.

Recognizes Everett's community involvement as a licensed lay reader at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Jackson and supporter of Canopy Children's Solutions.

Directs the resolution be presented to Everett's surviving family, including his wife Laurelie of 57 years, two daughters, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
