Commends and congratulates the Hernando High School "Marching Tigers" band and directors Len Killough and DJ Fitzgerald for winning the 2023 MHSAA Class 7A Marching Band Championship.

Recognizes the band's achievements including five Grand Championships (2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2023), consecutive Sweepstakes Awards, and multiple Bands of America regional and super regional honors.

Acknowledges Len Killough's eleven years as Director of Bands and DJ Fitzgerald's first year as Marching Band Director, both instrumental in the band's success.

Recognizes the band's participation in national parades including the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington D.C., Fiesta Flambeau Parade in San Antonio, and NATO Parade of Nations in Norfolk.

Directs that the resolution be presented to both band directors, the high school principal, and forwarded to the DeSoto County Board of Education.
