Documents Tyler's Mississippi State record of 39-25-3 overall (14-22-1 SEC) in six seasons as head coach, including a 1974 team that went 9-3 and ranked No. 17 nationally with a Sun Bowl victory.

Notes Tyler's induction into the Mississippi State Hall of Fame in 2020 and Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in 2022, and his subsequent roles as athletic director, coach at North Texas, and high school coach in Oxford.
