Recognizes Konnor Griffin, a 17-year-old Jackson Prep senior, as one of the best high school baseball players in America who pitches and plays shortstop with potential to play center field professionally.

Griffin was named to the prestigious Golden Spikes Award Watch List as one of only two high school players selected and is ranked second in the country by Perfect Game.

Helped lead Jackson Prep to its sixth consecutive MAIS Class 6A State Championship with a 31-4 record and No. 19 national ranking; named PriorityOne Bank/Mississippi Scoreboard Metro Jackson Baseball Player of the Year.

Posted a 7-1 pitching record with 1.38 ERA, 81 strikeouts in 50⅔ innings, and .537 batting average with 43 runs and 8 home runs with .951 slugging percentage.

Competed on 18-U USA National Team at WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan in September 2023 and committed to LSU as a national champion defender.
