Recognizes Lex Lemmers, Director of Program Management and Resident Engineering at PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, as the 2023-2024 Mississippi Manufacturers Association (MMA) Chairman of the Board.

Lemmers was named Plant Manager at PACCAR Engine Company's Columbus plant in January 2007 and began his career with PACCAR in 1996 with their European Division DAF Trucks in the Netherlands.

Lemmers holds a degree from the University of Alkmaar (Netherlands) and a master's degree in manufacturing systems engineering from Warwick University (United Kingdom).

The Mississippi Manufacturers Association has represented the interests of Mississippi manufacturers at state and national levels for more than 70 years and serves as the Voice of Industry in the state legislature and U.S. Congress.

Resolution commends Lemmers' business and civic achievements and directs that this resolution be presented to him and his family, forwarded to the MMA Board of Directors, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
