Commends the Sumrall High School "Lady Bobcats" girls soccer team and Coach Todd Siders for winning the program's first MHSAA Class 4A State Championship on March 9, 2024.

Team won 2-1 over West Lauderdale in the championship game, with junior midfielder Addie Siders scoring the go-ahead goal with 29.6 seconds remaining in the second overtime period.

Sumrall finished the season with a 23-3-1 record, with 23 wins representing the 23 players on the roster.

Coach Todd Siders started the school's soccer program in 2015 with the goal of achieving a state title.

Resolution directs that copies be presented to Coach Siders and Principal Matt Thomas, forwarded to the Sumrall School Board, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
