Jackson State University "Lady Tigers" Women's Basketball Team won the 2024 SWAC Championship, defeating Alcorn State 68-44 on March 23, 2024, marking their ninth SWAC tournament title and third under Head Coach Tomekia Reed

Team completed a perfect 18-0 conference season and won the SWAC Regular Season Championship for the fifth consecutive year, with Head Coach Tomekia Reed earning her fourth SWAC Coach of the Year award (third consecutive)

Jackson State finished with a 20-6 overall record, ranked No. 98 in NCAA national rankings, and received their first-ever vote in the AP Top 25 women's basketball poll in program history

Individual honors included Andriana Avent as SWAC Championship MVP, Ti'lan Boler and Miya Crump on All-SWAC First Team, and Angel Jackson as back-to-back SWAC Defensive Player of the Year
