Commends Katherine Jellum, a resident of Biloxi, for being selected as "Instructor of the Year" at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's Perkinston Campus by the Alumni Association.

Katherine Jellum has taught Language Arts and Honors courses at MGCCC for the past eight years.

Holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University of Southern Mississippi, Master of Science in Education from Arkansas State University, Master of Arts in English Literature from Southern New Hampshire University, and completed Quality Matters certification in March 2023.

Previously worked as an Adjunct English Instructor at Michiana College and English Teacher at St. Martin High School before joining MGCCC.

Resolution directs that this commendation be presented to Katherine Jellum and forwarded to the President of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Capitol Press Corps.
