Commends and congratulates Alexei Orohovsky, a 16-year-old from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, for winning a gold medal in the Junior Males category at the 12th USA International Ballet Competition held in Jackson in June 2023.

Recognizes Orohovsky as the second Mississippian to win a medal in the 44 years the International Ballet Competition has been held in Jackson.

Notes that the USA International Ballet Competition is one of the world's top ballet competitions, held every four years in Olympic style, with Jackson designated by Congress in 1982 as its official home.

Directs that this resolution be presented to Orohovsky and his family, forwarded to the USA IBC Board of Directors, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
