Recognizes MEC's role in advocating for broad business issues through advocacy, research, resources, and leadership while supporting community charities and nonprofit organizations.

Acknowledges MEC's instrumental involvement in major legislation affecting trade, infrastructure, education, health care, energy, and economic growth over the past 75 years.

Commends MEC's work in championing economic development and workforce training initiatives to strengthen Mississippi's economy and competitiveness.

Directs that this resolution be presented to Scott Waller, CEO of MEC, and forwarded to the President, Board of Directors, State Workforce Investment Board, and Capitol Press Corps.
