Amends Section 47-7-3.2 to expand mandatory minimum sentence requirements by changing the eligibility date from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 1995 for offenders convicted of nonviolent and violent crimes.

Requires offenders to serve at least 25% of their sentence for nonviolent crimes (or 10 years, whichever is less) before release by the Department of Corrections.

Requires offenders to serve at least 50% of their sentence for crimes of violence (or 20 years, whichever is less), with exceptions for robbery with a deadly weapon, drive-by shooting, and carjacking.

Requires offenders to serve at least 60% of their sentence for robbery with a deadly weapon, drive-by shooting, or carjacking (or 25 years, whichever is less).

Excludes from these requirements offenders sentenced to life imprisonment, habitual offenders, those serving sentences for sex offenses, and those serving sentences for trafficking; takes effect July 1, 2025.
