Prohibits retailers, manufacturers, and wholesalers from selling or distributing kratom products to individuals under 21 years of age, effective July 1, 2025.

Requires kratom products to be placed behind the retailer's counter and mandates that retail employees receive written notification and sign an agreement acknowledging the age restriction.

Defines kratom products as food or dietary supplements containing kratom leaf or extract with 7-hydroxymitragynine not exceeding 1% of total alkaloids and 0.5 milligrams per container.

Makes it a misdemeanor for persons under 21 to falsely claim age or present false identification to purchase kratom products ($100-$200 fine) or to possess kratom products in public ($200-$500 fine); violators face up to 30 days community service.

Allows municipalities and counties that enacted kratom bans or restrictions before July 1, 2025 to continue enforcing them and permits future local bans without state preemption; requires sellers to register with Mississippi Department of Revenue by October 1, 2025.
