Requires automatic expungement of misdemeanor convictions (non-traffic violations) by justice, county, circuit, or municipal courts without requiring a petition or hearing.

Mandates automatic expungement of arrest records when charges are dismissed, dropped, result in no disposition, or result in acquittal at trial.

Establishes automatic expungement for misdemeanor cases where an arrest was made but the person was not formally charged within 12 months.

Requires law enforcement agencies and court clerks to report all expungements to the Mississippi Justice Information Center, which must purge and destroy related records.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
