Reduces the time for the State Department of Health to determine feasibility of centralized wastewater treatment systems from 30 days to 20 days after receiving a preliminary design and feasibility study from a developer.

Reduces the time for the State Department of Health to determine suitability of individual on-site wastewater disposal systems from 30 days to 20 days after receiving all necessary information from a developer.

Provides that if the department fails to make a feasibility determination within 20 days, all subdivision sites shall be approved if a certified installer or department environmentalist confirms each site can be served by individual on-site wastewater disposal systems.

Brings forward Section 41-67-7 regarding approval of individual on-site wastewater disposal systems, including a five working day approval timeline with deemed approval if no response within ten calendar days.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
