Requires public, charter, and private elementary and secondary schools to conduct annual pressure tests on natural gas piping systems before each school year or by July 1 for year-round facilities.

Tests must be performed by a qualified plumber to verify the gas piping downstream of the meter maintains normal operating pressure for a period determined by the Mississippi Public Service Commission.

Schools must provide written notice of test dates and results to their natural gas supplier, who must maintain records for at least one year.

Natural gas suppliers must discontinue service to a school if they receive notification of hazardous leakage or if the required test is not performed.

Test results must be reported to the State Department of Education within 30 days, and any identified leakage must be reported to the school board or facility administrator; the Mississippi Public Service Commission shall establish implementing rules by December 31, 2025.
