Authorizes the Secretary of State to use Land Records Maintenance Fund money to contract with vendors through competitive bidding to maintain tax-forfeited lands, including cutting grass, trees, and limbs, repairing or demolishing structures, and clearing rubbish and debris

Removes the requirement that maintenance costs cannot exceed the market value of the property if potential damage to the property or adjacent property requires higher expenditures

Prevents Land Records Maintenance Fund balances from lapsing into the General Fund at the end of each fiscal year, allowing funds to accumulate for ongoing maintenance purposes

Expands maintenance coverage to include both unredeemed lands sold for taxes (while unsold) and lands that have been certified to the state

Takes effect July 1, 2025
