Requires all secondhand mattresses sold in Mississippi to have a white cloth tag (at least 6 square inches, visible on outside) permanently attached with the original date of manufacture, materials used, and indication of secondhand status.

Establishes misdemeanor penalties for knowingly selling secondhand mattresses without proper tagging: $50 for first offense, $500 for second offense, and $2,500 for third or subsequent offense.

Exempts from tagging requirements private sales of used mattresses by individual householders, sales by tax-exempt nonprofit organizations under IRC Section 501(c)(3), and mattress sales pursuant to court order.

Effective date of July 1, 2025.
