Amends Section 63-5-27, Mississippi Code of 1972, to add a three percent (3%) tolerance allowance for solid waste collection and transport vehicles on top of their sixty thousand (60,000) pound gross weight limit.

Solid waste vehicles must still operate within a fifty-mile radius of their home base or contractual customer and cannot travel on federal interstate highways or posted restricted roads and bridges.

Maintains existing requirements that solid waste vehicles have all wheels brake-equipped and cannot exceed their rated capacity.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
