Increases salaries for all sworn officers of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol by $6,000 across all ranks and experience levels.

Increases salaries for all sworn officers of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics by $6,000 across all ranks and experience levels.

Authorizes the Commissioner of Public Safety to set salaries equitably for officers in the Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, and Capitol Police, ensuring they receive commensurate increases when the Legislature authorizes salary increases.

Requires the Department of Public Safety to file necessary data with the Legislative Budget Office and State Fiscal Officer to budget and distribute funds for the salary increases.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
