Removes the restriction prohibiting constables from receiving fees for arrests made or trials attended related to motor vehicle law violations on designated United States highways within their district or county.

Maintains constables' existing duties to preserve the peace, execute criminal and civil process, and handle monies according to law.

Requires constables to complete a two-week training curriculum on constable duties, firearm use and safety, with county boards of supervisors paying expenses one time during their term.

Requires constables elected after January 1, 2000 to complete eight hours of annual continuing education training divided equally between firearms training and legal instruction, funded through the Law Enforcement Officers Training Fund.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
