HB 1302: Mississippi Mobile Sports Wagering Act

• Legalizes online sports pools and online race books in Mississippi, while explicitly prohibiting all other forms of interactive gaming.

• Requires platforms operating online sports pools or race books to obtain a manufacturer's and distributor's license from the Mississippi Gaming Commission and contract with licensed gaming establishments (no more than two platforms per establishment for each service).

• Mandates platforms implement geofencing, age verification (21+ only), identity verification, and maintain self-exclusion lists; prohibits wagering by restricted persons including athletes, coaches, and officials affiliated with events.

• Establishes the Mobile Sports Wagering Tax Fund beginning July 1, 2025, with first $6,000,000 annually until June 30, 2030 directed to Retail Sports Wagering Protection Fund to assist casinos without online platforms; remaining funds go to Emergency Road and Bridge Repair Fund.

• Universal start date for platforms to accept online wagers set for no later than December 8, 2025.
