Extends the repeal date of sections 73-11-41 through 73-11-73 (State Board of Funeral Service statutes) from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2028.

Reenacts all provisions governing the State Board of Funeral Service, including board composition (seven members appointed by Governor with Senate consent), duties, and powers to regulate funeral service practitioners and establishments.

Establishes licensing requirements for funeral directors, funeral service practitioners, funeral establishments, crematories, and resident trainees, with specific fees and renewal procedures set by the board.

Authorizes the board to suspend, revoke, or refuse licenses based on grounds including fraud, felony conviction, unprofessional conduct, and violations of chapter provisions, with monetary penalties up to $5,000.

Regulates cremation procedures including facility licensing, operator certification, recordkeeping requirements, and prohibits commingling of remains without written consent from authorized disposition agent.
