Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-37-39 to add an affirmative defense for machine gun conversion violations when a person is authorized by federal law to manufacture, possess, or use a machine gun conversion device.

Defines "machine gun conversion" as a device designed to convert a semi-automatic firearm into a machine gun, excluding semi-automatic firearms and devices that only improve accuracy or trigger speed without enabling automatic fire.

First offense conviction results in felony imprisonment for up to 10 years, a fine up to $10,000, or both.

Second or subsequent offense conviction results in felony imprisonment for up to 15 years, a fine up to $20,000, or both.

Effective date is July 1, 2025; law named the "Jeremy Todd Malone Law."
