Creates Section 43-19-50 requiring licensed insurers to exchange information with the Mississippi Department of Human Services within 10 days of opening claims seeking $500 or more in economic benefits to verify if claimants owe past-due child support.

Applies to claims for negligence, personal injury, wrongful death, workers' compensation, and life insurance; excludes property repair/replacement claims and certain benefit types like medical payments coverage and long-term care benefits.

Authorizes MDHS to encumber and seize insurance claim payments from obligors owing child support, with insurers required to withhold amounts and remit to enforcing authorities within 30 days after receiving notice.

Provides civil and criminal immunity for insurers acting in good faith under this section, but imposes a criminal fine of not less than $1,000 per claim for non-compliance or willful rendering of false information.

Takes effect July 1, 2025, and brings forward existing Section 43-19-48 regarding similar data match requirements with financial institutions for child support enforcement.
