Amends Section 23-15-153 of the Mississippi Code to allow county boards of supervisors to pay election commissioners an additional amount not to exceed $35.00 per election for performance of duties on primary, runoff, general, or special election days.

Election commissioners currently receive $165.00 per diem for election day duties; this bill adds discretionary supplemental pay of up to $35.00 per election to be paid from the county general fund.

The additional $35.00 per election payment is optional and subject to board of supervisors approval; the annual limitations on per diem days in the existing statute continue to apply.

Requires the supplemental pay to be claimed and documented on the election commissioner per diem claim form, which must be signed under oath and filed with the county board of supervisors clerk before payment.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
