House Bill 1439 - Mississippi School Accountability Dashboard Act

• School districts must publish School Accountability Dashboards by September 30, 2025, with updates within three weeks of receiving annual district accountability ratings.

• Dashboard data shall be compiled into a single-page graphic displayed on school district and state department websites, aligned with Mississippi's performance-based accreditation system.

• State Department of Education must issue standardized dashboard template and guidance to all districts by August 1, 2025, with a one-year grace period to identify and include additional relevant data by 2026-2027.

• Dashboard must include minimum metrics across three categories: schoolwide metrics (grades, graduation rates, reading/math proficiency, absenteeism); college and career readiness (placement rates, ACT scores); and teacher staffing (advanced degrees, turnover rates).

• Dashboard serves as a public reporting tool without imposing additional punitive measures based solely on reported data, with state department overseeing accuracy and providing technical assistance to districts.
