Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-21-205 to remove the prohibition preventing clerks from receiving compensation for attending youth court proceedings.

Allows circuit and chancery clerks to receive fees for youth court cases originating by petition or any other youth court matter acted upon by the court, paid according to law for similar services in other cases.

Clerk compensation for youth court services must be paid by the county upon approval of the board of supervisors using an itemized cost bill approved by the judge, from the county general fund.

Maintains existing prohibitions against court costs being charged to parties, and against salaried state/county/municipal officers and youth court counselors receiving fees for youth court services.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
