Amends Section 43-21-151 of Mississippi Code to clarify that jurisdiction in delinquency cases attaches at the time of the offense.

Clarifies that in dependency cases involving abuse, neglect, or exploitation, jurisdiction attaches when the allegation is reported to youth court (rather than at an earlier point).

Youth court jurisdiction continues until the child's twentieth birthday unless sooner terminated by court order, with no jurisdiction over offenses committed after age eighteen.

Effective July 1, 2025.
