Increases the maximum grant amount from the Small Municipalities and Limited Population Counties Fund from $250,000 to $1,000,000 per grant period for eligible municipalities and counties.

Applies to small municipalities with populations of 10,000 or less and limited population counties with populations of 30,000 or less, as determined by the most recent federal decennial census.

Eligible projects include highways, streets, roadways, bridges, sidewalks, utilities, airfields, airports, and equipment or real property acquisition and improvements.

The Mississippi Development Authority administers the grant program and must file annual reports to the Governor and Legislature detailing assistance provided.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
