Amends Section 41-19-35, Mississippi Code of 1972, to allow mental health regional commissions to establish alternative board compositions if all participating county boards of supervisors agree through adopted resolutions.

Default composition remains one member appointed by each participating county's board of supervisors to serve four-year terms at the board's pleasure.

Requires regional commission members to attend orientation training for new commissioners and annual training held by the Department of Mental Health, with removal by appointing boards if training requirements are not met.

Maintains nonvoting liaison positions for a selected chancery clerk and sheriff from participating counties, with compensation at the regional commission's discretion.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
