Extends the repeal date of Chapter 917, Local and Private Laws of 2021, from July 1, 2025, to July 1, 2029, allowing the City of Petal to continue levying a tax on hotels, motels, bars, and restaurants.

Authorizes Petal to impose up to 3% tax on gross proceeds from bars, restaurants (on beer, alcoholic beverages, and prepared food), and hotels/motels (on overnight room rentals).

Requires city governing authorities to adopt a resolution and hold a referendum with at least 60% voter approval before implementing the tax.

Dedicates tax revenue solely to promoting tourism and improving parks and recreation facilities within the City of Petal.

Requires separate accounting and annual independent audits of tax funds, with the Department of Revenue retaining 3% of collections to cover administrative costs.
