Authorizes the Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County to purchase radar speed detection equipment for use by the sheriff's department in enforcing speed limits on county roads and state highways outside incorporated municipalities

Allows the sheriff and deputy sheriffs of DeSoto County to operate the radar equipment to enforce motor vehicle speed limits on public county roads and state highways located outside city limits

Directs all funds received from citations issued for speeding violations detected by radar to be used for funding school resource officers in DeSoto County public schools

Takes effect upon passage
