Appropriates $31,391,612.00 from the State General Fund for salaries, travel expenses, and office expenses of district attorneys, assistant district attorneys, criminal investigators, and tort claims assessments for fiscal year 2026 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026)

Appropriates $489,367.00 from the State Prosecutor Compensation Fund for assistant district attorney salaries as authorized by Section 25-31-5(1) for fiscal year 2026

Allocates $1,682,000.00 of appropriated funds specifically for district attorney office expenses

Prohibits use of appropriated funds to reimburse district attorneys or staff for taxable meals within their geographical district

Requires district attorneys to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as fiscal year 2025, and submit fiscal year 2027 budget requests in comparable format and detail

Provides $371,679.00 for two full-time assistant district attorneys and one full-time criminal investigator per House Bill 1020 (2023)

Takes effect July 1, 2025
