Restores full voting rights to Tracey Rice of Lowndes County, Mississippi, who lost eligibility as a result of criminal convictions.

Rice was convicted of shoplifting on May 21, 2014, and sentenced to five years probation; her probation was later revoked.

Rice was subsequently convicted of possession of a controlled substance on September 2, 2016, and sentenced to one year house arrest.

Rice was discharged from probation on July 14, 2017, and the Legislature has determined she has since conducted herself as a law-abiding citizen.

The act takes effect upon passage.
