Restores voting rights to Thomas G. Owens of Lamar County, Mississippi, who lost the right to vote due to a 2019 conviction for nonresidential burglary and malicious mischief in Harrison County.

Owens was sentenced to four years on post-release supervision under the Mississippi Department of Corrections and was discharged from probation on April 27, 2021.

Legislature recognizes that Owens has since conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.

Becomes effective upon passage.
