Removes embezzlement convictions (Sections 97-11-25 and 97-23-19) from the list of felonies ineligible for expungement under Mississippi Code Section 99-19-71.

Allows persons convicted of embezzlement to petition for expungement five (5) years after successful completion of their sentence, subject to court discretion and determination of rehabilitation.

Maintains all other felony expungement restrictions including crimes of violence, arson, drug trafficking, repeat DUI offenses, felon in possession of firearm, sex offender registration failure, voyeurism, witness intimidation, and abuse of vulnerable persons.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
