Amends Section 21-23-7 of Mississippi Code to revise the age requirement for expunction of misdemeanor convictions in municipal court.

Allows first-time offenders convicted of misdemeanors (excluding traffic violations) to utilize Section 99-19-71 for expungement, removing the previous age restriction of conviction before age 23.

Maintains existing expunction provisions requiring two years of good conduct since last conviction and showing of rehabilitation before court may order record expunged.

Expunged records do not affect confidential law enforcement records or driver's license records maintained under Title 63.

Effective date: July 1, 2025.
