Establishes that members of the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) or Supplemental Legislative Retirement Plan (SLRP) convicted of felonies involving unlawful taking or misappropriation of public funds in abuse of office shall have retirement benefits suspended until full restitution is made, for crimes committed on or after July 1, 2025.

Requires courts to conduct civil hearings to determine if suspension conditions are met and issue suspension orders; applies to convictions in Mississippi courts, other state courts, or federal courts.

Suspends benefits only after all appeals are concluded or appeal deadlines expire, with the Attorney General determining when appeals are final; benefits remain suspended until full restitution of stolen public funds is completed.

Specifies that if a member belongs to multiple retirement systems, benefits are suspended only from the system covering the employment where the felony occurred.

Clarifies the suspension is not an attachment or assignment of benefits for tax purposes and that ambiguities about suspension shall be resolved in favor of the member.
