Replaces the fixed $30.00 minimum weekly unemployment benefit with a tiered system based on base period wages ranging from $250 to $1,000 per week.

Sets minimum weekly benefits at $1,000 for wages over $100,000; $750 for $75,000-$100,000; $650 for $50,000-$75,000; $500 for $25,000-$50,000; and $250 for $25,000 or less.

Removes previous maximum weekly benefit caps of $210, $230, and $235 that applied to benefit years beginning July 1, 2002, 2008, and 2009 respectively.

Brings forward Section 71-5-505 regarding weekly benefit calculations for totally or partially unemployed individuals with no substantive changes.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
