House Bill 503 Summary

• Revises the calculation of Medicaid reimbursement for durable medical equipment by establishing a statewide uniform fee schedule updated January 1 of each year based on 100% of the Medicare DMEPOS Rural Fee Schedule.

• Payment for new durable medical equipment purchases is set at the lesser of the provider's usual and customary charge or the fee from the statewide uniform fee schedule.

• The uniform fee schedule becomes effective for services provided on or after January 1 of each year following its update.

• Effective July 1, 2025.
